VERBO REDWOOD CITY

Who We Are

Group 21583

Bordered by Menlo Park, Atherton and Redwood City, the unincorporated area of North Fair Oaks has a population of approximately 15,000.

The majority of the people in this community are Hispanic, many living below the poverty line. The majority of these families are struggling to survive facing food insecurity, lack of health insurance, and good social and familial support systems, among other challenges.

Verbo, a non-profit 501c3 organization, has been tirelessly working over the past 25 years to support and impact the lives of the North Fair Oaks community. Verbo has become a hub for resources and a spiritual oasis, a place people call “home”.

As housing, food and gas prices increase the burden on this population intensifies and the need for services that Verbo provides continues to grow.
